• The information you provide is necessary to provide services such as the newsletter, integration with the Patreon plugin, use of the contact form and the ability to leave comments.

Data Retention

• Regular website access logs are stored for up to 7 days.
• Security logs may be stored for up to 30 days.
• Data from contact form submissions is retained until resolved. After that, it may be retained for up to 30 days.
• Comment data, Patreon login info and your email address (through my newsletter) are stored until you delete your account or comment, or unsubscribe from my newsletter.

• Under the GDPR, you may request to view, rectify or delete any of your personal data stored on my site. To exercise this right, send me a message on a social platform, mail me or use the contact form.
• Requests for rectification or deletion will be handled within 15 business days.

Purpose: Hosting provider and mailing list services.

Data: Basic browser data, e-mail address if signed up to the newsletter.

Patreon

Purpose: Payment processing and account facilitation.

Data: Basic browser data (once), username and email.

Wordfence

Purpose: Website security, incident response and malware scanning.

Data: Access logs and WordPress databases.

Akismet

Purpose: Anti-spam protection.

Data: Content of emails (such as those sent by the contact form) and comments.

Age Gate

Purpose: Facilitates that clean 18+ blocking screen you had to click through.

Data: A single cookie to remember you, which I’m sure is important somehow.

Bottom Line

I don’t want your data. I collect the minimum to make the site function conveniently and securely in my view, and do not sell or share anything beyond what is required of me.
